What are you working on that excites you?

I am working on a few exciting projects that look at alternative ways in which we can enhance the user experience in the vehicle. I love that we get to produce new solutions to existing products by tapping into our creative mindset.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your position?

The most rewarding aspect of my position is being able to work and interact with other people. As a research and development engineer, my projects involve working closely with Gentherm employees and individuals outside of the company for testing. The greatest teachers in life are those you genuinely learn from, and I believe one can learn something from everyone. Each person I have the privilege to interact with brings new perspective.

What are you working on that excites you?

Within the automotive sector, I'm administering subjective tests where I'm allowing volunteers within and outside of the company to test out our novel features currently in development!

What do you value most about your position and/or team?

I value the teamwork. Our advanced engineering team is always looking for ways to help each other. As a relatively new hire, the support has been wonderful. It feels like we're all on the same team, and I value that.

Gentherm has provided various opportunities for my professional development since being hired as a recent undergraduate almost a year ago. I've been able to explore new technologies, learn from experts in my field, and present my work to key stakeholders at our company.

What are you working on that excites you?

Our Advanced Engineering ClimateSense™️ team is working to further Gentherm's leadership in technology for our industry by developing cutting-edge user experiences for our upcoming products. My current role is to develop the software behind the cloud-based iOS applications that increase our ability to learn more about our end-consumers. What I find most exciting about working on ClimateSense™️ is the impact of our technology will have on driving an EV, both in terms of energy savings and passenger comfort.
